The triangle of murder, gore, and all that is grimdark. It's actually disturbing that the triangle is now complete on the site...
Ah well, let's just get this over with including it's little sequel of the same story by the same person: Scarlet Harvest.
(Also there's a note about a couple of things [Not playthroughs, about reviews] at the end)
Cheerilee's GardenOh boy, more killing except with a teacher. So the first thing I noticed is that Cheerilee actually set it up more than expected such as a perfect killer would. Although in the review over there that goes a bit more in-depth to that whole thing. Anyway, to the actual review it was well written seeing as time actually passed and Cheerilee needed to hurry up before events collided and it would all come tumbling down. Even the part about Snips and Snails (Won't spoil it) was quite well done seeing the turn out and the quick improvising, even in the aftermath. So wrapping it up (Theatre pun lololol, oh god I feel horrible now...) I think it was quite well done, disturbing nonetheless, so I'd have to give it a 7/10, +1 for time factors, leaving it at a 8/10. | Scarlet Harvest (Spoilers included)(First thing to keep in mind, Scarlet Harvest is just a sequel that is NOT required to be read but I decided to anyway.) Before I start ranting about part 2 of this, this was quite well done in marking more about Cheerilee's mastermind side. Anyway, WHAT THE FUCK, I know tragedy was listed as part of the tags but MY FUCKING GOD WAS PART 2 SO DAMN DEPRESSING. Seriously, they all didn't believe Twilight which was sad on its own but my God did you REALLY need to have her suicide because Celestia realized the truth too late? Still, I do have to admit it was rather well done, even if it was depressing. Straight 8/10, +1 for strong writing, going at 9/10. |
